Taking Communion with Clean Hands and a Clean Heart

To partake in The Lord's Supper is one of the most sacred moments of our Christian fellowship. It is so serious, that our Lord instituted it as a replacement for the Passover meal to usher in the new covenant on the night before He was crucified. But as Christians, do we really understand it? Do we know who should partake of it and who should pass on it? Are we reverencing it with humility?  Are we coming clean?
